Common questions

Is this for kids or teens?

Both! We welcome participants aged 5–15. Activities flex across ages and our staff tailor their support to each young person, so everyone feels included and comfortable.

Is it a weekly drop-in, or a block?

The Social Club runs as a 12-week block, and we keep the same group together the whole way through — on purpose. Real friendships aren't built in a single session; they grow with familiar faces, week after week. If you've got a holiday or something already booked, just let us know in advance and we'll move that session to another date so your child never misses out.

What's the difference between 1:2 and 1:1 support?

1:2 means one staff member supports two participants — great for social connection. If your child benefits from more individual attention, 1:1 support is also available. Just let us know and we'll organise it.

Do you provide drop-off and pick-up?

Yes, we can. Transport is usually charged at a 1:1 ratio, plus mileage. However, we do our best to coordinate multiple participants into a multi-person pick-up so they can split the mileage and support worker rate when available. Just ask us and we'll help you sort it out.

Do I need to pay for food or activities?

No. Lunch and every activity are included, and Marching Forward covers those costs ourselves so no one misses out (see the note below). Children are welcome to bring extra allergy-friendly snacks if they'd like. The $202.35 session fee is billed under NDIS capacity building supports.

What if my child hasn't come before?

You're very welcome — just use the "New client" button on any date and we'll get you set up. We're always happy to chat through anything beforehand so the first Saturday feels easy.

Your child's new favourite Saturday.

Spots are limited to keep our groups small and supportive. Reserve a place and give your child a Saturday to look forward to.

Please note: The NDIS does not fund food or activity costs. At Marching Forward, we cover the cost of all food and activities ourselves — out of our own pocket — so that every child can enjoy the full experience without the limit of financial constraints. It matters to us that no one misses out.
